The Central Corridor Light Rail Transit Line will be an 11-mile line running between Downtown Saint Paul and Downtown Minneapolis. Current plans have the line extend from the Saint Paul Union Depot Multi-Modal Transit Hub in Lowertown to downtown Minneapolis via University Avenue and the University of Minnesota.

Central Corridor LRT route and stations
construction and operation of the Central Corridor LRT will impact all users of University Avenue, Cedar Street, and Downtown/Capitol Area streets. It is anticipated that construction will begin in 2010 and end in 2013, with passenger service to begin in 2014. These links provide additional information.
