| In 1985 Thomas Built Buses, Inc., sponsored a series of tests at the CALSPAN Inc. at testing facility in Buffaol, New York. These tests produced results which were consistent with the Transport Canada school bus crash tests.
CALSPAN subsequently changed it's name to Veridian Corporation and was acquired by General Dynamics on August 11, 2003.
