The Saint Paul Public Schools Transportation Department periodically offers vehicles for sale to the highest bidder. Maintainance records are available for vehicles owned by the Transportation Department. Arrangements may be made to view vehicles by contacting Mr. Gregory Magnuson at 651-293-5908.
All bids must be submitted on the bid forms available from the Saint Paul Public Schools Purchasing Department, 360 Colborne Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102. Phone: 651-767-8291, Fax: 651-293-5965.
Bidders must be 18 years of age or older and all bids must be signed by the bidder.
Bidders must be aware:
• All vehicles are offered in an "as is" condition with no warranty either expressed or implied.
• No claims or statements are made by the School District as to the physical or mechanical condition, merchantability, or ability for the used vehicle to perform a specific intended use or purpose.
• Vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder. Bids may be rejected and /or sale cancelled if bids do not reflect the estimated value of the vehicles.
• Bid openings are public and will occur at at the daye and time listed on the Request for Bid.
• The high bidder will be notified after after the bid opening and will have three (3) days to complete the purchase transaction with a certified or cashiers check made payable to Independent School District No. 625.
• Vehicles will be available for immediate release to purchaser.
• Unless otherwise noted vehicles display tax-exempt license plates.
• Unless the purchaser is eligible to operate vehicles displaying tax-exempt license plates the plates will be removed prior to transfer or release to successful bidder.
• Purchasers not eligible to operate vehicles displaying tax-exempt license plates must transfer ownership and obtain new plates prior to taking possession of the vehicle.
• It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to transfer title and obtain appropriate license plates.
• Vehicles must be removed from School District property within 5 working days of notification of sucessful bid.
