mapb

The old-style oiled street is disappearing in Saint Paul at the rate of about 10 miles a year, thanks to the RSVP. The city’s last oiled streets should be rebuilt around the year 2020. About 150 miles of street were paved from 1986 through 1995 as part of the Combined Street and Sewer Program with nearly 15 miles of new asphalt, curbs, lighting, trees, and utility work in 2006.  The Saint Paul City Council has tentativly scheduled 18 projects through the year 2011.
